History

Sable Flats Safaris and Sable Flats Protection Services were founded in 2005.

William Micklethwaite (Mickey) is the owner and founder member of Sable Flats Safaris cc & Protection services.

Since 1988 he has built expertise in the field of tactical support, anti-hi-jacking, surveillance and armed escorting.

Safe guarding crime scenes, escorting in  high risk areas, escorting by air as well as site management.

Guarding of valuable assets and the protection of people and related services to private individuals or companies.

We have worked with VIP’S locally and internationally.

Transportation services is an express service, we collect/pick-up cargo & proceed directly to the delivery point,

Every transport service is a dedicated load which means only your cargo is inside our transporting vehicle.

• Tracking & communication systems

• Tracking by satellite on the escort & transporting vehicles and in following control rooms
• Sable Flats control room as well as a secondary back – up control room.
  Communication between escorts and Sable Flats control room and The Client freight / clearing agent and Logistics / truck control Room ( only the applicable persons )
• All tracking vehicles are unmarked.

• Notice required for service

• Time-frame for notice is flexible
  • If possible 1 to 2 days or longer before the trip is required
  • Long distance at least 2 days in advance ( i.e. Cape Town , Port Elizabeth)
