From the Founders
KOT Automotive Engineering (PTY) Ltd – King of Threads was founded and launched by Shawn Wayne Le Roux in March of the year 2014. Spearheading 15 years’ experience within the threading industry and having managed and built several affiliated threading companies across South Africa, his main aspiration and objective was to completely transform the Thread Engineering Industry with dedicated and pioneering bolt extraction and thread cutting techniques and procedures, linking KOT’s service module directly to customer convenience. To date, King of Threads has been the distinct choice of leading market icons within the Automotive, Commercial, Civil, Mining, Aviation, Rail and Marine sector.
