Our Training
All our training takes place either at Aquanzi Resort for our Pool/Confined Water Sessions and our Open Water/Scuba sessions takes place at Miracle Waters in Brits

Confined Water/Pool Training Facility- Aquanzi Resort
Our Discover scuba, One star Diver Course as well as our Drysuit Course all starts here in the amazing Scuba dive centre Pool at Aquanzi Resort located in Fourways.
The Dive Centre’s pool is a crystal clear saltwater pool, situated at the lodge and is used by various dive schools and individuals alike to train scuba diving.
The pool is 18m x 9m x 4 m deep.
The pool terrace is the perfect place to enjoy a light meal and drinks while enjoying your scuba training


Open Water/Scuba Training Facility- Miracle Waters
Miracle Waters is a dive getaway in clean spring water – it's less than an hour’s drive from both Johannesburg and Pretoria!
The large clear diving lake is an old open cast chrome mine surrounded by natural bush and farmlands.
The water is so clean because it is naturally replenished by an underwater spring.
At Miracle Waters you will discover No Gravity as its your last step to get you certified as a scuba diver...

- Why you should take this course
- Our Introductory SCUBA Experience Training Programme is an entry-level recreational diver training programme that is commonly referred to as a “resort course” or "Discover Scuba".
This training programme aims at providing interested persons with an introductory SCUBA diving experience, up to a maximum depth of ten (10) meters under the direct supervision of a Instructor, whilst using air as a breathing gas, in a safe manner.
How do you get started?
To gain access to the CMAS SCUBA Experience Training Programme you must be at least fourteen (14) years of age, be reasonably comfortable in the water environment and medically fit to participate in the sport of recreational SCUBA diving.

Haven’t been diving lately and want a quick scuba refresher?
Our REFRESHER program is the perfect way to update your dive knowledge and review basic scuba skills.
Whether you just need a few reminders or want a more comprehensive review, this program provides an engaging, prescriptive refresher of scuba principles, procedures and practical skills.
How does the Refresher Course work?
Our course can be done in 2 parts if elected by the student
Part 1 - Confined water/Pool Refresher
During this session we will refresh the student on all the basic scuba equipment from kitting up and how it works, we also include refreshing all the skills learned in your Open Water Scuba course and we will spend time working on your buoyancy - "3 hours Session"
Part 2 if elected - Open water Dives
Student can elect the instructor to accompany them on 2 guided open water dives at Miracle Waters
How do you get started?
To gain access to our Refresher Training Programme student should at least be Open water Scuba certified from any scuba agency

Why you should take this course
Our Open water - 1 Star Diver Training programme is an entry-level diver training programme which aims at introducing the fundamentals of SCUBA diving to new student/divers to recreational SCUBA diving.
This course will enable u to undertake no-decompression stop dives, whilst using air as a breathing gas, to a maximum depth of twenty (20) meters in a safe manner.

The physics of diving as well as the medical and physiological problems related to diving
The use of Dive Tables and Dive Computers

The Diving Environment
Self-and buddy rescue techniques
How do you get started?
To start your journey as a Open Water - One Star Diver you must be at least fourteen (14) years of age, be reasonably comfortable in the water environment and medically fit to participate in the sport of recreational SCUBA diving.
Upon completion of your Open Water - One Star Diver Training you will have sufficient knowledge, skills and experience to procure air, equipment, and other diving services and to plan, conduct, and log open-water dives that do not require mandatory in-water decompression stops, without the supervision of a Scuba Instructor or Divemaster, when properly equipped and accompanied by another certified diver of at least the same level, provided the diving activities undertaken, the diving conditions and the diving area are similar, equal or better to those in which training was received.

Nitrox Diving: We've Got You Covered

Why should you take a Nitrox course?
The Basic Nitrox Course is an attractive speciality scuba course that enables you to extend your bottom time and shorten surface intervals without the disadvantage of incurring decompression.
If you want to stay down longer and get back in the water sooner then you should enrol on a Basic Nitrox course.
What you will learn on this course
You will learn why diving with nitrox can extend your bottom time, along with equipment considerations that should be given to diving with Nitrox.
During the practical sessions you will be required to complete two scuba dives where you will learn about:
Dive Planning
Nitrox Depth Limits
Choice of Nitrox Mix
Gas Analysis
Where do you get started?
To begin your journey as a Nitrox Diver you must be at least 14 years old and be a certified Open Water - One Star Diver (or equivalent).
You must have a medical certificate that declares you medically fit to scuba dive by a certified physician that is not older than two years (or one year if you are older than 35).
We at Aqua Explorers will be thrilled to have you as a participant on a Basic Nitrox Diver Training Programme.

Why should you take a Dry-Suit course?
A dry suit course benefits drivers by teaching them how to dive safely and comfortably in cold water.
Dry suits offer superior warmth compared to wetsuits by keeping the diver dry, which prevents heat loss.
Furthermore, the course provides essential skills like dry suit buoyancy control, maintenance, and emergency procedures, enabling divers to explore more challenging dive sites and extend their diving season
Requirements For Completion
To begin your journey as a Dry-Suit Diver you must be certified Open Water - One Star Diver (or equivalent).
You must have a medical certificate that declares you medically fit to scuba dive by a certified physician that is not older than two years (or one year if you are older than 35).
Complete all academic sessions and assessments outlined in the instructor manual for Dry Suit Diving.
Complete the program’s final exam.
Complete at least one (1) pool/confined water session as outlined in the instructor manual for Dry Suit Diving.
Complete at least two (2) open water training dives as outlined in the instructor manual for Dry Suit Diving
